Senior Makeover Day
Noelle Hodge Willett, from Oxygen Mineral Makeup, came to our school this week and spent the morning with girls from Mrs. Jill Bailey's senior project class. By showing these senior girls how to apply makeup and discussing ways of appearance for job interviews, they learned how to present themselves to future employers. At the end, they all received a free makeup consultation and application.
A big Thank-you to Noelle!!!!

Souper Supper
Another successful dinner was served last Monday night at St. Charles Parish Hall. The Crew of Students cooked chicken, corn, green beans and a dinner roll. Atkinsons Market provided us with salad fixings and drinks. Albertson bakery provided an array of desserts. A bonus that night was an appearence by the Wood River Community Orchestra, who played Christmas music throughout the dinner. Thank you All!

Ropes Course
Last week Silver Creek High School students made the trip to CSI in Twin Falls. Half of the student body completed the the ropes course, while the other half took a tour of the campus. We got to visit an anatomy class in progress, the highlight of the trip. The professor brought out the lab cadaver, which CSI has had for 15 years.

We are the Dragons...
The students at Silver Creek High School (SCHS) have a
dynamic motto: Own it, fix it, move on!
Our school offers an
innovative and flexible learning environment to a limited number
of students in grades 9 through 12 who don't thrive in a
traditional school setting. They are
appropriately referred through Wood River High School, and we
are governed and abide by Blaine County School District
policies.
Our small, dedicated staff focuses on each student's special
gifts and needs. Students receive a lot of individual attention
to master the basics, while being given the opportunity to
explore areas of learning that really appeal to them. Our
student's senior projects are wide-ranging and inspiring.
Many alternative learning experiences are available to SCHS
students. We encourage them to learn and be good citizens.
They participate in community service projects
such as the Thanksgiving Food Drive, Souper Supper, and
collaborative projects with the Sun Valley Center for the Arts.
Every year we publish a year book, do a major presentation of
senior projects, and hold a graduation ceremony.
We take pride in our students' achievements and invite
you to learn more about our dynamic school.
